THE CIRCUS: INSIDE THE WILDEST POLITICAL SHOW ON EARTH RETURNS TO A CRIPPLED GOVERNMENT AND THE ARREST OF ROGER STONE IN ‘NEW WORLD DISORDER’
Season 4 Premiere Features Interviews With Senator Mitt Romney, Rep. Ilhan Omar, And More
NEW YORK - January 25, 2019 - THE CIRCUS: INSIDE THE WILDEST POLITICAL SHOW ON EARTH returns to SHOWTIME for its fourth season on Sunday, January 27 at 8 p.m. ET/PT as President Donald Trump confronts the reality of a Democratic-controlled House of Representatives. In the episode, titled “New World Disorder,” co-hosts John Heilemann, Alex Wagner, and Mark McKinnon explore how the shift in power has led to the longest government shutdown in American history and made the Mueller investigation — including its indictment of longtime Trump associate Roger Stone — more perilous for the president.
With the nation’s capital in disarray, THE CIRCUS catches up with key newcomers to the Hill, including Republican Senator Mitt Romney, moments after casting his first major vote since taking office, and Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minnesota), as the Democratic freshwoman announces her first bill.
As the impending Senate testimony of former Trump fixer Michael Cohen continues to loom, THE CIRCUS also checks in with the new chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Chairman, Adam Schiff (D-California).
