January 8, 2020 (Los Angeles, CA) Four-time Emmy award-winning ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT is kicking off the new year with a television milestone by airing its 10,000th show on Friday, January 10, 2020 (check local listings). To mark this incredible achievement, ET will receive an official GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the Longest-running entertainment news TV show during Friday’s historic broadcast. Since its premiere on September 14, 1981, becoming the first-ever entertainment newsmagazine, ET has remained the gold standard of entertainment news, covering the biggest celebrity events from Hollywood and around the world.

 

In addition, in this episode, ET will celebrate Rod Stewart’s 75th birthday from London with an exclusive at-home performance and a special announcement from the legendary singer.
