CBS SUNDAY MORNING, the nation’s #1 Sunday morning news program, posted audience growth year-to-year and delivered more than 6 million viewers, according to live plus same day ratings for Sunday, Feb. 10.
Anchored by Jane Pauley, Sunday’s broadcast delivered 6.18 million viewers and a 1.1/08 in adults 25-54, the demographic that matters most to those who advertise in news. Compared to the same day last year, CBS SUNDAY MORNING was up +2% in viewers (from 6.08m).
Television year-to-date, CBS SUNDAY MORNING is delivering 5.92 million viewers and a 1.1/07 in adults 25-54. CBS SUNDAY MORNING is the #1 Sunday morning news program in these measures.
Sunday’s broadcast featured Susan Spencer’s cover story on the epidemic of loneliness in the country. Also on the broadcast, Lesley Stahl sat down with Academy Award nominee Spike Lee. Tony Dokoupil talked with singer-songwriter Dolly Parton. Anthony Mason reported on the history of the famed Electric Lady recording studios. Jane Pauley narrated a series of short love stories.
