CBS SPORTS DELIVERS ITS BEST SEASON AVERAGE FOR SINGLEHEADERS SINCE 2016, AVERAGING 15.310 MILLION VIEWERS
THE NFL ON CBS’ Week 16 singleheader coverage on Sunday, Dec. 27 scored in viewership, up +25% vs. last year's comparable week. In addition, CBS Sports delivered its best season average for singleheaders in four years.
● Viewership for Week 16 singleheader coverage averaged 15.698 million viewers, up +25% versus last year’s 12.599 million viewers (Week 16; 12/22/19). Sunday’s games were highlighted by Indianapolis-Pittsburgh as the Network’s high-coverage game.
● Viewership for THE NFL ON CBS’ eight singleheaders this season averaged 15.310 million viewers, the Network’s best season average for singleheaders in four years, and up +3% versus last season’s 14.800 million viewers.
● CBS All Access, which features live streaming coverage of all NFL ON CBS games, has delivered strong viewership through the 16 weeks of the NFL season with double-digit year-over-year growth overall in average minute audience and triple-digit year-over-year growth overall in streams. CBS All Access viewership also is included in Nielsen television ratings.
